 Remedy Has Officially Confirmed The Development Of Control 2

Remedy has announced the joint development and publication of the sequel to Control with 505 Games. Control 2 will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and will be powered by the Remedy Northlight engine.  Remedy will publish the game on the PC platform, while 505 Games will release it on the console platforms. The project is currently at the concept stage.

Remedy first announced plans for a “big budget Control game” in June 2021. “I am now proud to be able to confirm that the big-budget Control game, also known as Codename Heron, is Control 2, the full-fledged sequel to our award-winning Control game,” CEO Tero Virtala said Friday.

Control 2 isn’t the only franchise game Remedy is working on. The company previously announced plans to create a multiplayer co-op game in the same universe that is currently time is codenamed Condor and is being developed by the Remedy Vanguard team.
