Poco F8 Pro And F8 Ultra Flagships With Snapdragon 8 Elite Chips Unveiled

Xiaomi’s Poco brand unveiled its new flagship smartphone series, the Poco F8. It includes the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra. Both devices feature powerful processors, capacious batteries, and high-quality AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz.
The Poco F8 Pro features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 1156p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2560Hz PWM frequency, and a brightness of up to 3500 sq.m. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, complemented by 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of flash memory.
The triple camera system features 50MP, 50MP, and 8MP sensors, giving it a full complement of features. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and IP68 protection are also included. Xiaomi is asking $530 for this smartphone.
The Poco F8 Ultra will set you back at least $680. This device is larger and more powerful. It has a 6.9-inch display with a 1200p resolution and the same specs as the smaller model. It’s powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, along with 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of flash storage.
The camera setup consists of three 50 MP sensors, but the main one is larger than the smaller model’s, and the telephoto camera offers 5x zoom versus 2x. Furthermore, this model features the huge speaker on the back, which is a huge addition to smartphones.
The Poco F8 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at $579 (€649.90 in Europe), while the 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at $629 (€699.90). The Poco F8 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at $729 (€829.90), while the 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at $799 (€829.90).
