OSCAL Announces Marine 3 Rugged Smartphone With AI Support

Oscal announced the launch of the rugged Oscal Marine 3 smartphone, featuring the same ultra-rugged design as its predecessor, the Marine 2, but with a more powerful processor. Also noteworthy is the camera’s night vision and underwater video recording capabilities.
The smartphone features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals and improved power efficiency. The display’s peak brightness reaches 400 nits and supports glove mode.
The OSCAL Marine 3 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 processor paired with Android 16 and the proprietary DokeOS 5.0 user interface. The smartphone supports up to 24GB of RAM (including virtual expansion) and up to 256GB of flash storage, expandable by an additional 2TB via a microSD card. Battery life is provided by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The camera module includes a 16MP main camera and a 13MP night vision camera with an infrared sensor, which supports a special underwater mode. This configuration allows for shooting in low-light conditions, at night, and underwater, making the device practical for outdoor activities and work in challenging conditions. A 13MP front camera is also available for selfies and video calls.
The 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging provides up to 288 hours of standby time, up to 22 hours of talk time, up to 6.5 hours of video playback, and up to 25 hours of music playback. It also supports 5W reverse charging.

The smartphone runs DokeOS_5.0 based on Android 16 with a set of proprietary AI applications Doke AI 2. based on the advanced DeepSeek-R1, Gemini and GPT-4o mini models.
