OnePlus Introduces Nord 4: All-Metal Nody Smartphone
The OnePlus company introduced the Nord 4 mid-budget smartphone, which is quite significantly different from the company’s other non-top devices. In this case, it is about design. Nord 4 is metallic. It does not have a separate back cover made of glass or plastic. Instead, an all-metal case is used here! Apparently, this is the first similar mass smartphone in many years.
The device is based on a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor (one Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of up to 2.8 GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of up to 2.6 GHz and three Cortex-A520 cores with a frequency of up to 1.9 GHz) . The smartphone offers 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, 128 GB of permanent UFS 3.1 memory, as well as 256 or 512 GB of permanent UFS 4.0 memory.
The device received a 6.74-inch Super Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1240 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 2150 cd/m2 and HDR10+ support. On the front side of the smartphone there is a 16-MP camera peephole with the ability to shoot video in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.
The main camera is based on a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA sensor with an optical format of 1/1.95 inches. Optical stabilization is available. The second camera is an ultra-wide-angle camera with a resolution of 8 MP. Nord 4 is also equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh with support for charging with a power of 100 W, but memory is not included in the package. Physical sound mode switch in place.
OnePlus Nord 4 will be available in Mercurial Silver, Oasis Green and Obsidian Midnight colors. The smartphone supports AI functions AI Audio Summary, AI Note Summar and AI Linkboost (for quick reconnection to a wireless network). The new product also received the AI Groupfie function, which automatically edits the eyes of people in group photos so that none of them appear with closed eyes in the photo because they blinked at the time of shooting.
In India, the novelty starts at 400 dollars for the 12/256 GB version, and in Europe the price starts at 520 euros.
