Nintendo Confirms Actors to Play Zelda and Link in The Legend of Zelda Movie

The full-length film based on the adventure fantasy action series The Legend of Zelda from Nintendo is still surrounded by an aura of mystery, but now, at least, players have learned who the main actors are.
English actress Bo Bragason will appear on screen as Zelda, and Link will be played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth.
Bo Bragason, a 21-year-old British actress, is known for her roles in the BBC One series Three Girls and The Docks, as well as the Disney+ project Nell the Robber. She also starred in the comedy Easy Vampires by Evros Lin.
Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is a 16-year-old British actor who voiced Pinocchio in Robert Zemeckis’ 2022 film. He also starred in the Netflix series The Haunting of Bly Manor, played in the Canadian comedy Son of Critch, and appeared in The Sandman.
Following a recent delay, The Legend of Zelda film will be released on May 7, 2027. It will be directed by Wes Ball, who directed Planet of the Apes: New Kingdom and the Maze Runner trilogy.
