Microsoft Adds AI Image Generator To Paint
Microsoft has expanded its image creation capabilities with its graphics editor Paint. To do this, the application added a tool based on artificial intelligence, Cocreator, which can generate images based on text prompts or user sketches.
Cocreator uses algorithms to create images based on text prompts and user drawings. Previously, such features were only available to developers and Windows Insiders, but have now become official for use.
Cocreator has a creativity slider that allows users to control how strong the AI intervention will be. The firm claims that the combination of drawings and text prompts allows for faster image editing and provides more accurate rendering than other text-to-image generators such as DALL-E.
