Lotus Introduced The 905-Horsepower e-Car Emeya
The new Lotus Emeya 2025 has made its official debut. Lotus, known for its commitment to performance and innovation, has unveiled this flagship car, which is due to hit production lines next year, as a 2025 model year.
Using an 800 V on-board network, you can replenish a range of 150 km at a 350 kW express charging station in just five minutes. With this increase in the charge of the traction battery from 10 to 80%, only 18 minutes of time will be required. The maximum speed reaches 256 km/h. It is known that the car is equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 105 kWh. Taking into account the orientation of the model at high speed, its charge in the EPA cycle should last for approximately 489 or 600 km, depending on the modification. For a junior specialist, the power of a sports car’s power plant is not 612 horsepower.
The indicated power of 905 horsepower is realized with the help of just two electric motors, while competitors most often approach such figures with the help of three or even four electric motors. Lotus Emeya should offer customers an intelligent suspension control system, which, using sensors scanning the road surface at a frequency of 1000 times per second, will automatically change the parameters of the shock absorbers to ensure optimal ride and handling.
The interior of the car, compared to most modern Chinese luxury electric vehicles, is not particularly shocking; there is a large touchscreen display in the center console area, and auxiliary displays are built into the oblong sections of the front panel. The rear seats are molded strictly for two passengers. Such a high-speed liftback nominally belongs to the GT class, which implies movement at high speed over long distances.
