iPhone 15 Shows The Number Of Battery Charge Cycles Completed

Now you can see the number of recharge cycles completed.

Previously, battery information was displayed in the Maximum Capacity format, displaying how much the battery can charge as a percentage of the factory capacity. Now you can see the number of recharge cycles completed. This data could also be obtained before, but it requires analyzing the state of the device, copying and pasting the report into the notes application, and then searching for “last_value_CycleCount”.

A completed cycle is counted when the battery is discharged to 100%, and not necessarily at one time, Apple explained. For example, you can discharge the battery to 75%, charge it fully, and using a 25% charge the next day the cycle will complete. In some cases this may take several days. The capacity of lithium-ion batteries decreases with each full charge cycle.
