Publisher Hitcents and studio Throughline Games announced that the story-driven 2D adventure Forgotlings will be released on February 17th. The game was originally scheduled for release in the summer of 2025, but was later pushed back to the fall. However, the project disappeared from the radar for a long time. Now the developers have returned with a specific date.

Forgotlings has been announced to launch on February 17, 2026, exclusively for PC (Steam). The announcement was accompanied by a dramatic story trailer featuring new gameplay footage.

Forgotlings takes place in the Forgotten Lands, where lost objects gain consciousness and unique personalities—these creatures are called Forgotlings (or Forgotlings).

Players assume the role of a charismatic mannequin named Fig (with a face on his stomach) and must unite five tribes in a fractured world threatened by the Beast and find their place in a life where memories are power.

The game promises a semi-open world, a deep story with consequences for your decisions, cinematic action and stealth, hand-drawn anime-style graphics from Studio Ghibli, a captivating soundtrack, and Russian localization.

According to the developers, the project is the culmination of five years of development and a logical continuation of the ideas behind Forgotton Anne, the studio’s previous work, which was warmly received by players and critics.
