Huawei Unveils MateBook Fold Ultimate Design in China – World’s First Foldable Laptop That Can Turn into a Tablet.
The MateBook Fold Ultimate Design display features support for the P3 wide color gamut, HDR Vivid, and HDR modes with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. According to the manufacturer, it is the first commercial display with an adaptive refresh rate and the lowest power consumption in its class.

Huawei equipped the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design with one of the industry’s largest hinges at 285 mm, designed to withstand significantly heavier loads than standard laptop hinges. In China, Huawei MateBook Fold starts at 23,999 yuan for the version with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. The laptop in the 2 TB configuration will cost 26,999 yuan.
