Honor Unveils Play 70 Plus Smartphone

Honor has introduced a new mid-range smartphone to its home Chinese market, the Honor Play 70 Plus, which supports fifth-generation (5G) networks and features a large-capacity battery and durable body.
The new Play 70 Plus smartphone features a 6.77-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, and multiple eye-protection modes including a natural light mode. For security, the smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the side of the case, and there is a dedicated AI button for quick actions such as clearing memory, adjusting brightness, and checking delivery.


The device also has a 7000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and reverse charging. And the device is based on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which, according to the manufacturer, provides long-term uninterrupted operation. The main camera of the smartphone received 50 MP and artificial intelligence functions such as object removal, image expansion and vision correction.

Honor Play 70 Plus runs Android 15 with the proprietary MagicOS 9.0 interface. The version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM costs $165, the model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM costs $195, and the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM will cost $220.
