Honor Introduced The Global Version Of Magic6 Pro: A Smartphone That Can Smash The iPhone 15 Pro Max

At MWC, Honor presented the international version of its flagship smartphone Magic6 Pro. The brand also announced the start of worldwide sales of the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design clamshell. Both smartphones run MagicOS 8.0, which places great emphasis on AI functionality.

The Honor Magic6 Pro smartphone has a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1264 pixels, rounded at the edges. It supports dynamic oscillations from 1 to 120 Hz, has a brightness of up to 1800 cd/m2 in auto mode and delivers a peak brightness of 5000 cd/m2 when playing HDR content. There is also PWM control of the backlight brightness with a frequency of 4320 Hz, which ensures no flicker.

The manufacturer also noted a new ultra-durable coating to protect the screen – in the advertising video, Magic6 Pro literally broke the screens of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra in a direct collision.

The battery capacity is 5600 mAh.  As Honor noted, the Magic6 Pro smartphone was the first in the world to receive a battery with a silicon-carbon anode. It is claimed that a phone with such a battery has low power consumption and is able to work longer at subzero temperatures. For example, at -20°C, the smartphone plays YouTube videos for more than 80 minutes. Supports 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging. A full charge takes about 40 minutes.

The latest HONOR Falcon camera system includes a 180 MP telephoto camera (f/2.6, OIS) with 2.5x optical zoom and digital zoom up to 100x. HONOR Magic6 Pro is also equipped with a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.0, EIS) and a 50 MP main camera with variable aperture (f/1.4 and f/2.0, OIS).

Global versions of Honor Magic6 and Magic6 Pro will be available in black and light green body colors. The price of Magic6 Pro in Europe will start from 1299 euros for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Sales in Europe will start on March 1, and pre-orders will begin today
