Honor 300, 300 Pro and 300 Ultra Smartphones Debut

Today, Honor’s 300 series of smartphones debuted, which includes the eponymous base model, the more advanced Honor 300 Pro, and the flagship Honor 300 Ultra.

All three models are equipped with large AMOLED displays with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The older Honor 300 Pro and Ultra models received 6.78-inch screens with a resolution of 2700 × 1224 pixels, and the basic Honor 300 – a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 2664 × 1200 pixels. A special feature of all new products is support for brightness up to 4000 cd / m² and PWM brightness control with a frequency of up to 3840 Hz, which ensures comfortable work for the eyes.

Inside the regular Honor 300, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and the amount of RAM varies from 8 to 16 GB. For data storage, there are versions with 256 or 512 GB of built-in memory. The software platform here, as in the other two new products, is MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.

Honor 300 Pro and Ultra offer a more powerful flagship chip of the previous generation – Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is equipped with a cooling system with a stainless steel vapor chamber with a total area of 36,842 mm². Versions with 12 or 16 GB of RAM will be available for these models. The Honor 300 Pro smartphone offers 256 or 512 GB of internal memory, while the Honor 300 Ultra version will provide 512 GB or 1 TB of flash memory.

The main rear camera of all new models uses a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 sensor with a resolution of 50MP and optical stabilization, on which a lens with an aperture of f/1.95 is mounted. In the base Honor 300, the main camera is supplemented only by a 12MP wide-angle module with an aperture of f/2.2.

In addition to the main and wide-angle cameras (with the same specifications as the base Honor 300), the Honor 300 Pro is equipped with a telephoto lens module based on a 50MP Sony IMX856 sensor with 3x zoom. In turn, the Honor 300 Ultra has a telephoto lens offering 3.8x zoom. In this case, too, the camera is built on a 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor. The front cameras of all three smartphones are the same – with a resolution of 50MP.

The Honor 300 Pro and Honor 300 Ultra are available in black and white, while the Honor 300 Pro is also available in green. The price starts at 3,399 yuan for the Honor 300 Pro 12/256 GB. Pre-orders are already open in China. It is not yet known whether these new products will be available on the international market.
