Global Hotel Chain Hilton To Install Chargers For Tesla

Tesla has agreed to sell and install about 20,000 11.5-kilowatt universal charging stations at Hilton hotels in Canada, Mexico and the United States. The cost of one charger is $595.

The first orders are expected to begin shipping next month. But given the sheer size of this order, it’s unlikely that Hilton will pay for these charges. Each hotel will have at least six chargers available for electric vehicle owners.

However, it is worth noting that this is a very competitive price. Other brands like Ford or Rivian offer similar products for $200 more.

The Magic Supercharger Dock Inspired Tesla’s Universal Wall Plug. It uses a similar mechanism to replenish the energy storage of all electric vehicles except those that still have the old CHAdeMO connector.

The brand did not specify whether this will be a free benefit for guests or whether they will have to pay.
