NetEase-owned Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture (No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned) has announced the release date for its ultra-violent sci-fi action game Romeo is a Dead Man.
The plot of Romeo is a Dead Man begins with an incident that fractures space and time. The protagonist, Romeo, is on the brink of death but survives thanks to new, advanced technology. He becomes an agent for the Space-Time Police, a division of the FBI. Now Romeo travels through space in search of criminals and his missing girlfriend, Juliet. It soon becomes clear that there is a connection between her disappearance and the dimensional catastrophe.
In combat, the hero switches between swords and firearms. By absorbing the blood of defeated enemies, Romeo builds up strength to use “Bloody Summer”—a move capable of turning the tide of any battle. As you progress, you’ll be able to customize and enhance the protagonist’s weapons.
They promise an unpredictable story that transcends space and time, intense battles, the ability to absorb the blood of enemies to use special moves, and weapon upgrades.
