CMF Phone 2 Pro Unveiled – Affordable Modular Smartphone
The CMF brand, which belongs to the Nothing company, has introduced a new smartphone. The device is called Phone 2 Pro, and it is again a budget device.
The back cover is still removable, making it much easier to replace the battery or the cover itself if necessary. There is support for interchangeable accessories such as straps and stands, which are securely screwed to the back panel. There are also now removable camera lenses: one for macro photography, and one for a classic fisheye.
The camera is the most significant upgrade in the new model compared to its predecessor. The CMF Phone 2 Pro boasts a 50-megapixel main camera with a large 1/1.57″ sensor, which the company says captures 64% more light than the sensor in the Phone 1. The camera can record 4K video (at 30 fps; 60 fps is available at 1080p) and features AI-powered image stabilization.

The smartphone runs on Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G processor with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz is responsible for performance. The 5000 mAh battery provides up to two days of operation.

The smartphone is also equipped with NFC and supports modular accessories – a replaceable case, lenses and a wallet stand.

The smartphone will go on sale on May 6 at a price of 259 euros for the model with 128 GB of memory and 289 euros for the version with 256 GB.
