Xiaomi Reveals Poco X7
Xiaomi has unveiled a new smartphone, Poco X7, aimed at the youth market segment. The device develops the design ideas of the previous POCO X6 and F6 models, and also maintains an interesting price-to-technical ratio.
The Poco X7 smartphone received a productive and energy-efficient MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor – the smartphone scored 704,404 points in the AnTuTu test, which allows it to run resource-intensive games and cope with other heavy loads such as video editing, the manufacturer notes. High performance is also promised by up to 12 GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Xiaomi HyperOS 2.
The new product is the first Poco product to use a curved 3D Dual-Curved display. This is a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a touch panel with a polling rate of 2560 Hz. The peak brightness is 3000 cd / m², 12-bit depth corresponds to support for 68 billion colors and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 space, there is support for HDR10 +. The safety of the display for the eyes is confirmed by three TÜV Rheinland certificates. There is also a protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the case protection from dust and water complies with the IP68 standard – the device can lie under water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 m. Poco X7 also features a shock-absorbing design that protects the case from impacts.
Autonomy is provided by a 5110 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging technology. The manufacturer guarantees 80% capacity retention after 1600 charge cycles due to the use of a solid-state electrolyte.
The main camera is built on a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with optical stabilization. It is complemented by an 8-megapixel wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels.
The smartphone is available in three colors: black with leather trim, green and silver. The thickness of the case varies from 8.4 to 8.63 mm depending on the version, and the weight is 185.5-190 grams.
