WWDC 2025: Apple Confirms Date for Its Next Major Event
Apple has announced the date for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The event will be held online from June 9 to 13. Developers and invited students will be able to attend the in-person portion of the event on June 9 at Apple Park.
The event is expected to feature announcements of new versions of the company’s operating systems. However, of particular interest is the upgrade of the digital assistant Siri with advanced AI functions, which was promised a year ago. Last year, at WWDC, Apple announced the Apple Intelligence platform, which was supposed to give the voice assistant the ability to see the screen, perform actions based on the displayed content, and integrate more deeply with applications. However, Siri has not yet received these functions – Apple developers have encountered serious technical difficulties. Will Apple fans get what was promised at the upcoming WWDC25 – we will find out in June.
“We look forward to introducing our latest tools and technologies to empower developers and help them innovate,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations.
