In the pictures you can see how the Crew-5 capsule with 4 astronauts is going to land on Earth using parachutes, this is necessary to slow down the speed of the fall. The astronauts themselves in the capsule are securely fastened with the help of seat belts in their chairs in a semi-lying position.
The entire mission, led by NASA, lasted 19 hours, successfully delivered to Earth by two NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Kassada, Japanese cosmonaut from JAXA Koichi Wakata and Russian woman Anna Kikina.
Before the descent of the Crew-5 team, the Crew-6 mission arrived at the station with a new shift, which included NASA astronauts Woody Hoburg and Stephen Bowen, Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev and UAE astronaut Sultan al-Neyadi. They will stay on board the ISS for six months. Together with them, Russian cosmonauts Sergei Prokopiev and Dmitry Petelin, as well as NASA astronaut Frank Rubio will continue to work at the station.
