Super Nintendo World Will Open In Early 2023
Nintendo has confirmed great news for loyal fans of the corporation. The gates of the American amusement park Super Nintendo World will open in February.
Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood can be visited from February 17, 2023 and will be the first of its kind in the United States. There is a similar theme park only in Japan, but there will be new rides in the US.
USJ and Nintendo also provided details on one of the zone’s top attractions: the Mario Kart-themed roller coaster. They are located inside the reconstructed Bowser castle and use augmented reality and projection mapping technologies, and visitors are encouraged to wear augmented reality headsets in the shape of Mario’s cap.
The park will also be expanded with a Donkey Kong themed area. Cars have steering wheels, several vehicles can race side by side with each other, but the ride itself is on rails. There is no guarantee that a particular participant will win the race – the result may be affected by bonuses falling out of the boxes.
