Sony Showed the First Gameplay of Marvel’s Wolverine

Marvel’s Wolverine made a surprise appearance during the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play, right at the end of the livestream. Sony unveiled a trailer and announced the game would be released in fall 2026.

Logan is played by Liam McIntyre, an actor best known for his work on the series Spartacus: Vengeance. Insomniac representatives also stated that they aimed to make Wolverine more true to his comic book appearances than to other projects. Simply put, a darker and often more violent character.

It is also known that the project will take place in several locations, from Canada and Japan to the fictional nation of Madripoor.

Marvel’s Wolverine is scheduled for release in the fall of 2026. The title will be released exclusively on PlayStation.
