SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku confirmed that players will be able to try out a demo of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties before its release. The announcement was made in a testing report on the PlayStation Blog, followed by previews and gameplay videos published by industry media. Details about the demo’s contents and release date are promised to be revealed at a later date.
In anticipation of the announcement, IGN offers 40 minutes of English-language gameplay footage of Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties, featuring Kazuma Kiryu and Yoshitaka Mine.
The first segment featured street fighting, customization of Kiryu and his smartphone, Game Gear games, karaoke, activities at the Morning Glory orphanage, and the Haisai Girls biker gang, whose lives the character will be able to participate in.
As Yoshitaka Mine, the user helped Lieutenant Tsuyoshi Kanda build his reputation, bowled, and fought in the underground fighting club Hell’s Arena (with Brawler Hell and Survival Hell modes available).
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will be fully released on February 12th on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The project combines the extreme remake of Yakuza 3 with the brand new Dark Ties.
