Samsung Showed A Refrigerator With A 32-Inch Display For Smart Home Control
Samsung Electronics is set to unveil its new Bespoke Family Hub Plus refrigerator at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 in Las Vegas. The new refrigerator features a large 32-inch Full HD touchscreen. The device uses artificial intelligence and IoT technologies for entertainment, family communication, cooking and smart home services.
According to the press release, the Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus allows free access to the Samsung TV Plus service, allowing you to watch 190 TV channels in the US or about 80 channels in South Korea through the Samsung TV Plus app. The vertical, “portrait” position of the display makes it optimal for viewing social media content built like TikTok, in which images are optimized for display on smartphone screens. It also supports picture-in-picture (PIP) mode, which allows you to play video in a floating window while the remaining screen area is allocated for other tasks.
The manufacturer has added support for Google Photos, integration with OneDrive is also provided.
The Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus also supports Amazon Your Essentials, which allows users to order groceries and groceries frequently using a dedicated touchscreen widget. The integrated SmartThings Hub helps control smart home devices and supports six related services including Air Care, Home Care, Pet Care, Clothing Care, Energy and Cooking.
