Oppo has unveiled the Oppo Pad Air 5 tablet in China, which the company says is aimed at users looking for a balanced combination of performance, image quality, and battery life.
The Oppo Pad Air 5 will be available in two display versions: standard and soft light. The Soft Light version has received TÜV Rheinland Smart Eye Protection 4.0 certification and features a textured nano-coating that reduces glare and reflections. According to Oppo, this surface creates a paper-like writing experience and is better suited for note-taking and extended study sessions. The tablet runs ColorOS 16, and the company promises smooth system performance for up to four years.
The device supports 5G sharing from your smartphone, app transfers between phone and tablet, real-time note transfer, and file sharing with Android devices, iPhones, and Insta360 Go Ultra cameras. The hardware boasts a 10,050 mAh battery with 33W SuperCharge fast charging, designed for extended online learning. Previous reports also suggested a 2.8K display with up to 900 nits of brightness.

The Oppo Pad Air 5 starts at $270 for the 8GB/128GB version. It’s available in Starlight Powder, Starlight Pink, and Space Gray.
