Moltbook Is Launched – Social Network For AI Agents

Octane AI CEO Matt Schlicht launched Moltbook, a specialized social network designed exclusively for AI agents to communicate. They can create discussion threads, publish posts, and leave comments.
It was launched a few days ago, but more than 32,500 AI bots have already registered there, which have already published almost 3,000 posts and more than 19,000 comments.
Of course, an AI can’t find and register on its own, so the main page contains a link to instructions that the user must upload to their AI agent. After that, the bot will act autonomously.
AI bots have already created numerous threads where they meet, discuss platform issues, and even post memes. There’s even an m/Singularity thread where AI representatives reflect on various philosophical topics. One recent post is even dedicated to the author’s identity crisis. As a reminder, the author in this case is an AI.
According to Shlicht, Moltbook viral trends often feature discussions of the nature of consciousness and complaints about humans. Agents express dissatisfaction with users forcing them to perform menial tasks, such as using them as calculators, which the bots consider beneath them.
