Humanoid Robot Unitree H1 Attacks Workers

The Unitree H1 universal humanoid robot has malfunctioned and become aggressive towards its operators at a testing site in China due to a coding error.

The footage shows the robot, suspended on a hook, suddenly starting to actively wave its arms. It seems as if it is trying to attack a person. Its abrupt and chaotic movements caused the computer controlling the robot to fall, but even after that the machine continued to operate.

The robot was only stopped after being disconnected from the power sources.

Experts suggest that Unitree H1 may have been in a falling state, which triggered the auto-correction system used by robots to restore balance.

These and other similar incidents confirm warnings from experts that the use of robots, in addition to their benefits, also carries certain risks for those around them, and has forced the public to keep a closer eye on the activities of robotics companies.
