Huawei FreeArc Earbuds Introduced

Huawei has officially unveiled new Huawei FreeArc wireless headphones with an original design.

The body of the earphones is made of titanium-nickel alloy with shape memory effect combined with skin-friendly silicone – materials used in the aerospace and medical industries. According to Huawei, this combination of materials makes the earphones flexible and durable. Based on durability tests, the earphones can withstand more than 20,000 bends and maintain their shape for up to five years.

The Huawei FreeArc earphones feature a two-piece design with a Huawei C-bridge connection. The battery is located behind the audio driver, the so-called “acoustic ball” that rests on the ear. A similar concept was used in the Huawei FreeClip earphones, but in this case in a new form factor.

The headphones feature a highly sensitive 17 x 12 mm driver that delivers rich bass, as well as a titanium diffuser and neodymium magnet for improved sound quality. A dual-microphone system reduces wind noise at speeds of up to 4 m/s.

The Huawei FreeArc is priced at around $124 and will soon go on sale in China and a number of other countries.
