Honor Pad X7 Compact Tablet Unveiled

Honor has unveiled its entry-level tablet, the Pad X7. It is a compact device with a metal back panel and weighs 365 grams, which features an 8.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a peak brightness of 625 nits.

The hardware basis of the tablet is the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 microprocessor. In the maximum configuration, the device is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and a 128 GB drive. The disk space can be expanded using a microSD memory card. The power source is a 7020 mAh battery with support for charging up to 10 W and reverse wired charging.

The design includes a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel main camera.

The vendor claims that the new product has undergone 42 “rigorous reliability tests to ensure reliability and trouble-free operation” of the device. This includes impact tests, operation of the device in extreme conditions, strength testing when pressing the screen, deformation testing, etc.

The Honor Pad X7 is already on sale in Saudi Arabia, where the 4/128GB variant costs SR449. There is no information on availability in other regions yet, but some previous models, such as the Pad 10, have been released in Europe, so a wider release is likely soon.
