Elon Musk Moves SpaceX Headquarters To Starbace – A City He Founded in Texas
Elon Musk has officially moved SpaceX headquarters from California to Starbase, Texas. The Starbase facility, located near Boca Chica, is now the official registered address for the entire aerospace company.
In this state, SpaceX has a launch pad called Starbase near the town of Boca Chica, which is now considered the official registration address of the entire company. “SpaceX headquarters will now officially be located in Starbase, Texas,” the entrepreneur said. SpaceX management asked local authorities to organize elections to give the Starbase launch site the status of a city. Hundreds of the company’s employees live there. Later, Musk, in response to one of the users on X, tagged his mother Maye Musk and wrote: “Look mom, I made a city.”
Musk’s decision to move the headquarters of SpaceX and X (formerly Twitter) from California to Texas was also linked to his dissatisfaction with recent changes to California’s laws regarding adolescents’ rights to gender identity.
With SpaceX’s official move to Starbase City, Musk further cements his presence in Texas, where he currently has key business interests spanning aerospace, automotive, and social media.
