ChatGPT For Windows Is Now Available To All Users
The ChatGPT app for Windows PCs is now available to all users. OpenAI added its chatbot to Microsoft’s operating system in October, but at that time, only ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users could use the feature.
The ChatGPT app for Windows appears to be similar to the Android version in many ways, although the desktop app is more convenient for entering large amounts of text and adding images. Chat support is implemented, as well as support for several voice commands. However, the process of free interaction with the service remains as limited as in ChatGPT for other platforms. A free user can reach the allocated limit in just a few minutes. For premium subscribers of ChatGPT, who pay a plan of $ 20 per month, the Windows app will be much more useful. The desktop version of ChatGPT is similar to the web version of the service in many ways, but it is likely that having a separate window on the desktop will allow for better optimization of work processes and interaction with the chatbot.
OpenAI also announced that ChatGPT for macOS now supports desktop apps. With the right permissions, this feature is compatible with development tools such as VS Code, Xcode, Terminal, and iTerm2.
