ChatGPT Experienced A Global Outage
ChatGPT has stopped working for many users around the world. Numerous reports on social media, as well as our own testing, have shown that the chatbot loads but does not respond to requests. Many users are also seeing an “internal server error” message.
Complaints started coming in the evening. The problems mainly arise with access to the site and the operation of the mobile application. The failure is reported by users from the Netherlands, Germany, Kazakhstan, Poland, Finland and others.
When going to the ChatGPT website, an error notification appears. OpenAI reports that a high frequency of errors is recorded in the work of ChatGPT, API and Sora. “This issue has been determined to be caused by a higher-level provider, we are currently monitoring it,” the message says.
ChatGPT has already experienced several outages in the past few months. Just days after OpenAI released Sora to paid ChatGPT subscribers earlier this month, the video creation tool and ChatGPT went down for several hours.
