Capcom Announces Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
Japanese publisher and developer Capcom has unveiled Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, an updated version of its zombie action game Dead Rising, which debuted 18 years ago, in 2006, on the Xbox 360.
The original game was released in 2006 on Xbox 360 consoles. It is the story of photographer Frank West, who investigates the outbreak of a zombie virus. The hero survives in a large shopping center, which is occupied by the walking dead. The games in the series stand out for their special atmosphere with a touch of black humor and great variety in how you can destroy enemies.
Capcom isn’t sharing any details yet, but the teaser trailer mentions that Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will offer an “all-new look” for “newest-gen” platforms.
In other words, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is likely a remake of the original Dead Rising with graphics created from scratch for current consoles (and probably PC).
