ASUS Unveils Azoth 96 HE – Gaming Keyboard With OLED Display

ASUS announced a new addition to the ROG Azoth line of gaming keyboards. The Azoth 96 HE features hot-swappable ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches, whose key advantage is software-adjustable actuation point. Users can customize the keystroke depth with precision down to hundredths of a millimeter.
The keyboard features a 1.47-inch full-color OLED touchscreen and a three-way switch for customizing actuation points and other parameters. The display displays essential keyboard and system information and is identical to the display on the flagship Azoth Extreme.
Instead of the ROG NX switches used in other ROG Azoth series models, the Azoth 96 HE features hot-swappable ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches with an ROG Hall-effect sensor. The switches’ actuation travel can be adjusted from 0.1 to 3.5 mm in 0.01 mm increments for a more precise response. The company states that each keyboard undergoes a multi-stage calibration process during production, precisely recording the travel of each key. This data is used in an algorithm to improve control and ensure stable, accurate (with minimal tolerance), and ultra-fast Rapid Trigger technology.
The device’s appearance is completed by a metal top panel and translucent keycaps with the ROG logo. The keyboard’s availability date and price have not yet been announced by the manufacturer.
