Apple Releases MacOS 14 Sonoma

Apple has released the final version of macOS Sonoma for Mac.

The system now has the ability to use widgets on the desktop, new wallpapers, the ability to create web applications in Safari, and support for Windows games.

One of the main innovations of macOS Sonoma is the ability to place widgets on the desktop. Previously, users could add them to the sidebar. The widgets themselves have become interactive, so they can be used to interact with relevant applications.

In addition to this, the developers have added new video conferencing features such as Presenter Overlay. With its help, the user can show himself on top of the displayed content, for example, presentations or graphs. The lock screen now looks similar to what you’d see on an iPhone or iPad, but with a password field instead of a numeric keypad. The Safari browser has added an improved private browsing mode, as well as profiles designed to separate the content you view by topic.

Safari has also improved protection against trackers. The new Game Mode delivers smoother gameplay and reduced latency on AirPods and game controllers. With the Game Porting Tool you can now transfer games from Windows to macOS.
