Microsoft Teams Brings Classic Windows Games
The users of the Microsoft Teams collaboration service will not be bored in virtual meetings. This week, the software giant introduced the Games for Work app, which will become part of Teams and will give users of the service access to classic Windows games such as Klondike solitaire and Minesweeper.
To implement the project, Teams developers teamed up with employees of the Microsoft Casual Games division. The idea is to help workers recuperate during the break, the company says. It is noted that such entertainment for 45 minutes allows employees to be 20% more productive.
The Games for Work app will be available to all Teams users on Education and Enterprise plans shortly. The developers plan to expand the list of games available in the application in 2023.
