Ray-Ban Glasses Can Now Identify Music Via Shazam
Meta has released a new update for its Ray-Ban smart glasses, which adds song recognition via Shazam and several AI features.
“Living AI” improves user interaction with the intelligent assistant. Using built-in cameras, the AI assistant can “see” the same as the owner of the glasses and answer questions based on the image. For example, when in an unfamiliar city, you can ask the gadget to tell you about a particular landmark while looking at it at that moment.
Finally, the device received support for the Shazam service, designed to recognize tracks. The function is launched using the voice command: “Hey, Meta, what’s this song?” This innovation is already available to users from the USA and Canada, and the rest will be added to the firmware later.
Live Translation allows the glasses to translate conversations in real time and transmit them through the built-in speakers.
