BALDUR’S GATE 3 To Recieve Its Final Eighth Patch Soon

The stress testing of the eighth major patch for the fantasy role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios, which began at the end of January, revealed one of the secrets of the future update.

Blogger Hyperspace Towel noted that the test version of the eighth patch introduced the ability to activate a new “evil” ending, which was not available to players at the release of the seventh major update for Baldur’s Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 includes Photo Mode, 12 new subclasses, cross-play, and split-screen support on Xbox Series S. It includes gameplay tweaks, bug fixes for NPCs, dialogue, and abilities, as well as improvements to combat and the user interface. Performance improvements have been made in the Adamant Forge, and script, cinematic, and dialogue fixes have been made.

The test version of the eighth patch is planned to be fixed and improved, and the release is expected in 2025. This is the last major update for Baldur’s Gate 3.
