Meizu 21 Note Presented

Meizu has officially introduced the mid-budget smartphone 21 Note, which has a powerful Qualcomm chip and a screen refresh rate higher than that of flagship models.

The device has a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2780 × 1264 pixels (Full HD+), a variable screen refresh rate from 1 to 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 5000 cd/m². The device body is protected from dust and moisture according to the IP65 standard.

The hole at the top of the display houses a 16-megapixel front camera (f/2.5). There is a dual main camera on the back of the case. It combines a 1/1.56-inch 50 MP (f/1.7) sensor with support for optical image stabilization and a 13 MP (f/2.4) wide-angle module. The camera is complemented by a ring-shaped illumination and supports video shooting in 8K, 4K and 1080p.

Last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal memory are responsible for the device’s performance.

Meizu 21 Note runs an unnamed version of Android with a pre-installed proprietary Flyme AIOS shell, focused on artificial intelligence functions. One of the key features is Flyme Link support for controlling the functions of Geely, Polestar, Zeekr and Lynk&Co cars from a smartphone.

The power source is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh with support for fast charging up to 65 W. A USB Type-C connector is provided to recharge the smartphone.

The device will be available in black and white color options. You can buy a Meizu 21 Note with a 256 GB drive for $360, and a version with a 512 GB drive will cost $388.
