SpaceX Falcon 9 First Stage Completes 20th Flight For The First Time

SpaceX carried out the 20th launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with 23 Starlink satellites. The broadcast was conducted on the company’s page on the social network X

The rocket launch took place at 21:40 local time in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The launch was originally scheduled for 21:22, but due to a delay it was shifted by 18 minutes.

The separation of the first and second stages of the ship occurred after two and a half minutes of flight; the first stage some time later landed on an unmanned SpaceX ship. At this time, the stage for launching satellites into orbit was operating.

The launch of the Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida was timed to coincide with the first launch of the Space Shuttle in 1981. During the mission, the Falcon 9 upper stage launched 23 Starlink satellites into orbit. About 65.5 minutes after the rocket’s launch, they were deployed into orbit. On the one hand, such missions fuel SpaceX’s internal capabilities and remain a corporate thing. But on the other hand, for a real escape into space, at least within the solar system, launches are needed as often as possible at the lowest possible cost.
