Samsung Introduces the Galaxy Tab S9 Tablets Series

Samsung introduced a large number of new products, including the Galaxy Tab S9 tablet computers. There are three models, but they are all built on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy single-chip system, equipped with micrioSD card slots and support 45W charging.

Unlike its predecessors, the Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets are protected against moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard, which was previously the privilege of only the Galaxy Tab Active series of rugged tablets.

The top model of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra series is equipped with a large 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1848 x 2960 pixels and a refresh rate of 60-120 Hz. The display supports the Samsung Vision Booster technology used in the Galaxy S23 smartphones, which automatically brightens the screen in bright environments for better visibility.

The notch at the top of the screen houses two 12-megapixel front-facing cameras, one of which has an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the back panel there is a dual camera with 13- and 8-megapixel sensors. High-quality sound is provided by four speakers tuned by AKG engineers. To unlock the tablet, an under-display fingerprint scanner is used.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, being the base model of the line, received the most compact display – with a diagonal of 10 inches. The AMOLED panel is characterized by a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The front camera is 12-megapixel, the main one is with a 13-megapixel sensor. Both cameras support 4K 60 fps video recording. The battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S9 was 8400 mAh, the memory sizes are 8/128 GB or 12/256 GB. There is a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ is larger with a 12.4-inch AMOLED panel, but the rest of the display is the same as the base version. The front camera is 12-megapixel, but the main one is dual, with sensors with a resolution of 13 and 8 megapixels. There are two memory options here – 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB, the battery capacity is 10,900 mAh.
