Big Update To Bing Chatbot And Start Of Public Testing

Microsoft announced the start of public testing of the Bing chatbot without a waiting list, and also announced a number of new features, some of which are already available to users. A short list of innovations: Support for the history of dialogues. Ability to export and share content. Plugin support. Improved summarization of long documents and web pages. Edge Actions to complete tasks.  Support for page context in the mobile version of Edge. Support for charts, graphs and other visual forms of response. Bing Image Creator now supports over 100 languages. Now let’s talk about the new features in a little more detail. The Chatbot Conversation History is a really useful feature that will allow you to remember what you have talked about in the past and save some useful responses. In the future, Microsoft wants to teach Bing to consider conversation history in new conversations, but the launch date for this feature is not yet known.

Eventually, Microsoft plans to add export features to Bing — to share the chatbot’s responses on Twitter or transfer them to a Word document.

There will also be an opportunity to personalize the tone and style of the chatbot’s responses, choosing from long and creative to shorter and more concise.
